This is the Fishbowl. It's the lower floor of the Snow building. Don't ask me why they call it the fishbowl, because I don't know. Maybe I'll figure out this great mystery someday! The fishbowl is the place that the vocal majors own, it's where the vocal majors live. There are even convenient padded benches that you can push together to make a bed. (I don't know this from experience, it's only here-say, but apparently you're not really a vocal major until you've slept down here.... can't say I'm looking forward to that... :)
The other thing I love about the Snow is how friendly it is. Sure, it's a little bit of a maze and sure, maybe I've gotten lost many many times, but there's always a friendly face to point you in the right direction.
And then, there's the random free food in random places! You probably wouldn't think that a table in a hall of practice rooms would be a place to pick up produce, but that's where I got these plums!
And on that musical note, I'd like to add I had my first choir performance yesterday. Women's choir sang in Devotional!
Here I am in concert atire right before I left for devotional. I would have had my roommate take the picture, but she was asleep so I had to settle for a mirror selfie. Notice the writing on the mirror? That's something else kinda fun that we roomies do, write each other notes back and forth on our bathroom mirrors.
Here I am in my concert seats with my good friend Allyson. We're alto buddies! I totally love her because she's kinda awesome!!! :)
~Keep Smiling~ :)
